G+_Travis Hershberger
Someone found a pack that fell behind some shelving at a warehouse or something equally crazy. Some manager thought it was still worth money....... and that discount price is more than it was originally. I wonder what the real story is? G+_J Miller
The packaging is worth more...? Love the upgrade sticker on it. As if Vista was an upgrade.
G+_Brenden Howser
For $20 more, you can get Windows 8.1!
G+_Ronald Stepp
Windows 10 will fix most of that. I hope Microsoft realized how badly they misread what the customers wanted when they made 8. If for no other reason than it's probably the worst adopted version business-wise.
G+_Ronald Stepp
Yeah worse than ME, at least ME was an honest mistake. Windows 8 was on purpose.
G+_Brenden Howser
If you get past the metro stuff, Windows 8.1 really is great and its faster, more secure, and more reliable than Windows 7.
G+_Ronald Stepp
8.1 really screwed up my Cintiq the first time I upgraded to it. I kept getting the dreaded limited connection bug, and everytime I was near a public hotspot (unsecured with no password more annoyingly) it would instantly switch to it instead of my personal hotspot. So I would wrestle back and forth until I got it to connnect to mine, 95% of the time limited connection. I went back to 8.0 and recently got a replacement for my Cintiq because of a manufacturer defect. It updated to 8.1 without me even realizing it, but haven't had the slightest connection problems this time. Keeping fingers crossed.
