G+_Michael Whalen Jr
I need a low power Pc or singile board computer for a media center. To play Itunes, Netflix and Hulu. I was thinking a signal board computer that can run windows 10 home. I don't need nothing really powerfull. Any sugestions would be apreciated thanks. G+_Jason Brown
I use an HP stream mini. It's discontinued, but Dell sells a similar micro PC. Just don't make my mistake. Go for at least a 64gb drive. I had to upgrade mine after the fact. It has an m2 slot
G+_John Baronian
For those criteria you might as well just get an iPod Touch and a lightning digital AV Adapter to playout to hdmi. OR Apple TV. My dad used to say use the right tool for the job... after buying every tool in the hardware store...
G+_Jason Brown
I like the windows interface because you have the option of the full desktop environment. Devices tend to be more cumbersome in my opinion. A PC gives you more options for customization.
G+_Kyle Trail
Ummm, $50 for a Roku Stick.
G+_Ben Reese
ITunes will be the problem. FireTV and Roku will play the first two. Either a computer or a AppleTV will be your best options. You can probably get a decent laptop used on Craigslist for $100~200.
G+_Jeff Gros
Intel compute stick. I've used one at home in the living room and at work in the conference room for several years now. Runs traditional windows apps like itunes. Also runs windows store apps like netflix, hulu, kodi, etc. Can install office or office libre to show documents, spreadsheets and presentations. No problems with horsepower. Works like a champ. Also comes preinstalled with windows (or linux), so you have little configuration to do, and the OS doesn't cost extra. G+_Michael Whalen Jr
I'm thinking laptop but I like the Intel compute stick idea. I'm going to look into the compu stick or a cheap laptop. Thank you for the help
G+_Terrill Cockeram
Intel nuc mini pc work really nice. Run full copy of Windows 10 plus u can run plex on them as well
G+_Tailsthefox Pelissier
The Intel stick use to my 1st choice on that. But with the drop in cost of Sreamboxes, that thier are Chomeboxes that have all the power to run Windows 10 and their's the latte panda computer (It's just an Arduino that comes with full Windows 10 installed). G+_Matej Raj?an
Intel nuc. I have celeron version and it does wonders. Faster than a first gen i5. SSD is a must.
