G+_Roy Hembree
I’m getting ready to use one of the products advertised on the podcasts and I don’t know if it matters to Leo et al which show’s code I use. Is there a difference to the TWiT company if I use the TWiT, TWiG, or TNT code?
G+_Dave Bach
I think they're all just different for tracking purposes, just like the month code they toss at the end of most. We do the same thing in real estate by tossing an extra digit at the end of a property pin# we know if the customer enquiries are generated by yard signs, Internet postings, print ads, etc. By tracking we can determine where to spend future marketing dollars. In the same way TWiT can track what shows are generating income for sponsors.
G+_Matt Lyons
So to shorten was David Bachowski said, just use whichever one you want to support more.
G+_Lisa Laporte
Yes the advertisers track our codes but always use TWiT if you can't remember the show code. Not all shows have the same advertisers so using any show won't work. Thanks for supporting TWiT.

G+_Matt Lyons
Lisa Kentzell If we do use, say a "TWIG" or "TNT" code, are we in a way supporting those shows specifically or does it not really make a difference?
G+_Lisa Laporte
Yes all offer codes are tracked by show and the advertisers pay attention to it. However if you cannot remember which show you heard the product/service on then use TWiT.
