Anyone know why the TNT show is no longer added to the 'http: twit tv node feed ' general feed

(Re above) -1 as long as there isn't a good way to subscribe to playlists (especially for non partner channels, so pretty much impossible) making a seperate channel for each show is pretty much essential for subscriber growth since NOBODY likes all of the shows cluttering up activity/subscription feeds. Also it gives a chance for the hosts of the show to grow mini community around their channel by using the show's YouTube account (especially with most of the shows only having live chatroom and some email feedback which isn't suitable for corrections that can be easily found under the video or faster discussion than episode to episode responses). Of course the hard part then is to get people to discover other shows on the network.

TL;DR better way to get subscribers, possibly better way to get communities around the shows

PS. Do you want a RSS mega feed or YouTube megafeed? Cause you're only gonna use one of them and be a meaningless number increasement on the other. /rant

OK, I have no problems with individual show feeds, if I was joining TWiT a new maybe this is the way I would do it.

But I have been listening/watching TWiT for years, I subscribe to their All Shows RSS feed in my podcatcher and YouTube channel all shows channel. I manually select what I want to consume, some weeks a show topic might interest me and I download show I don't normally listen to.

Something changed a couple of weeks and TNT stopped showing up in the RSS feed on the TWiT site and then the YouTube channel.

I was just interested Why it had happened. What is wrong with having a channel for the whole station?

For RSS feed fair request since views do get counted that way, but for youtube channels you can only do splitting in up or having all in one place, and second is worse for growth. Now, they might be able to abuse channel activity feature to push other shows into twit channel subscribers views, however they will probably use twit channel only for This Week in Tech and spamming other shows would lose the benefit of per-show subscriptions.

(Disclaimer: While I do occasionally talk to Chad about twit/youtube stuff as I write the smarts in omgcraft and it just happens to get brought up, this is entirely my interpretation and not what twit might think)

What I don't understand is why I see certain shows in the YouTube channel but not all, ie today I don't see This Week in Tech and recent TNT. Other weekly shows are there. When I select the ' This Week in Tech' or TNT channels it shows me as being 'Subscribed' to these. But they don't show in my Subscribed list.

Anyway, really my bigger problem is with the RSS feed. I could always depend on getting the shows I wanted from there. Even the current ' This Week in Tech' is not showing today. So I have not downloaded it yet. Hey, gives me more time to listen to my Other podcasts ;)

TNT showed up in the RSS feed today so I am happy, hopefully next week's TWiT will too. Thanks to whomever.

As for YouTube Channel it would be good for all the shows to display in my Subscribed list otherwise it reduces discovery, but I can live with this more than with the RSS Feed :)

OK, so the full channel RSS feed is still not updating properly, no Frame Rate and only the Giz Wiz today. Frame Rate I found as it is a must listen, but I have other podcasts to keep me occupied until the this is fixed.

Oh, All about Android was yesterday Gina's 1st I suppose I will have to go find that one.

Lisa Kentzell So the solution to this was to remove all new shows from the TWiT Channel RSS feed. Disappointing. I always though TWiT was a network of multiple shows, but no easy way to receive all the shows. You wonder why show discovery is a problem, if people only subscribe to individual shows they never see any others.

Thanks anyway.
