G+_David Keeler
Hya Gang, So I installed the AVS as described on KH#305 and Brian said he wanted to manually load each of the services separately each time. Fr. Robert said there was a 'one line' script to auto load the configuration on the TOR episode but I cant seem to find it. I have managed to autoload 3 terminal windows on startup so figure there is supposed to be a way to auto type the 3 commands. if I go into lxterminal and enter nano .config/lxsession/LXDE-pi/autostart I get @lxpanel --profile LXDE-pi @pcmanfm --desktop --profile LXDE-pi @lxterminal @lxterminal @lxterminal @xscreensaver -no-splash @point-rpi I entered in the @lxterminal command and I think there is supposed to be a -e command and then put what you wan to type in quotes. for example @lxterminal "cd ~/Desktop/alexa-avs-sample-app/samples cd companionService && npm start" that should start the first service but when I try it nothing happens at all. Do i have the syntax wrong? Thanks! Unidave199
G+_Black Merc
The 3 terminal windows are not lxterminal launched 3 times. They are the resulting output from process demons you (auto)launch to start the tor services.
G+_David Keeler
Brian made a point to open these commands in three separate terminals, so thought it would be three separate services... So is there a proper syntax to launch these three daemons?
