Hi Know it alls, i am trying to find a software like dropbox for my home server. I want to share it with my friends. I want to have users for my nas server. I was looking at owncloud but in you video it sounded slow. Please Help?

I use Pogoplug and Drobo Transporter.  I keep them in the basement where it's cool and far away from my other computer gear.  They're fairly immune to natural calamities.  I have them hard wired to my LAN. Both let you access the file remotely and are easy to implement.
