G+_Ed Lazarus (thegrayarea
I am looking for an easy way to stop a podcast(twit shows of course) on kodi in one room and resume it in the same spot in another. The podcasts are down loaded to a shared folder on my Ubuntu nas server and the two rasp pi and my htpc are running openelec. Any ideas? Thanks in advance ? G+_Jason Marsh
What are you using to manage your library, or is each openelec instance connecting directly to the share? What works great for me is to let the media server (plex) keep track of such things. I've run openelec (or a plex-client variant of it, it's been a while and I forget), and screen-roaming works fine. You can access the content via a Plex client installed on the HTPCs, or access Plex Media Server via http. In either case, the media server remembers where you left off and you can restart there or start over completely at your discretion.
