Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ What's the secret for getting a response from Ready To Fly Quads?  I wanted to add something to an unshipped order I placed a week ago and have received no response to filling in the contact form and sending an email.  What's the best way to contact him?  How quickly have people been getting their KH250 kits shipped - I did check the option to have them solder the connectors on the Flip which I know takes a few days, but I realized the day after I placed the order that I had meant to add the "Pimp your Flip 1.5" option to the order and haven't been able to get a response to make the change.

I've emailed him in the past and it takes a few days to get a response, maybe 4-5 days. But I have always gotten a response so far.

He just got back to me tonight and I'm all squared away.  I feel better.

Isn't it still just the one guy running that entire place?  Probably going to take a bit to get back to people with everything that needs doing and how popular the sites become here and else where.

Yea it takes him a while to get to you but he will. As far as I know it is a one man show there and he had some medical problems recently so he is trying to get things back on track. I wont order anything I need in a rush from him but that is not to say he is bad. I just know from forums and other things I read he is not that fast.

He can take a while.... which is why we always have our "parts list" episodes 3-4 weeks before the integration episodes.

 

But he's a solid guy who's been through a lot. He loves the hobby and has always done right by me and the KH community.

It took a 2-3 weeks for me to get my gear, but it was also during the time when he was down-and-out sick and also in the middle of a move. Great products though! I still highly recommend RTFQuads.

My KH250 kit arrived today.  That prankster scared the heck out of me when I only saw 3 black motor boxes, but when I calmed down enough to open all of them I found 2 motors in one box.

It's actually smaller than I had imagined, but that's not a bad thing.  I thought it was going to be a little bigger than my AR Drone 2.0, but it's a little smaller.  This thing is going to be a rocket.
