The Problem A smudged camera lens accounts for nearly 30% of poor quality pictures taken with smart phones. Most people are unaware that they are regularly touching the lens with their fingers when they are reaching for their phones in their pockets, not to mention the accumulation of dust and dirt on the lens. An oily, dusty, dirty camera lens leads to dull, cloudy, washed out photos and THAT'S NOT GOOD FOR ANYBODY! The Solution No more carrying around cleaning cloths or wiping and scratching your smartphone camera lens on your t-shirt! Lenzgard is a simple and inexpensive cure for funked up lenses and cloudy, colorless pics. Lenzgard is an unobtrusive and easy to install lens protector that quickly adheres to the back of your phone or case and slides open or shut as needed. When Lenzgard is closed it keeps finger oils, dust, dirt and all other pocket/purse creatures from scuffing or scratching your precious lens. Simply slide it open for picture taking and slide it closed when done, its a SNAP! Get it? End all fear of keys and coins and the polymer adhesive acts like a million tiny suction cups that instantly grip & release over and over again never to gunk up your phone or case. For crisper, clears photos, Lenzgard is a no-brainer.

G+_Sølve Skrede
Hey Frank Speer, This seems like a very good and useful idea! First thing I thought about, is to extend the track past the lens, so that the cover has support when it's closed, seeing as that's the position it's going to be in when it gets beaten up and pushed around while in a backpack, handbag, or pocket. This means that the adhesive pad will be almost twice the length of the cover, and have a "aperture" where the lens is. The rails guide and secure the Lens Cover fully, the entire way. This would also make it harder for dust to accumulate under the cover. It might even be an idea that the cover sits between a guiderail and the phone, so that the cover itself clings as close to the phone surface as possible? Additionally, don't forget that many phones have the cameras set close to rounded edges and flashes (iphone 5, etc).
