Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ   If anyone has built the KH250 and has a 3D printer, I've found this model for landing struts at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:284261  which doesn't fit the Diatone frame if you print it at 100%, but if you shrink it to 92.89% the bottom plugs are a hair loose, but they're in the right position and if you fasten the strut to the body with cable ties it works fine.  I needed a replacement strut after a recent crash and ended up printing a new set with 2 red and 2 green - keep green facing you and the controls are not reversed.  You can see the original strut in black in front.  I'm working on a 3D printed Mobius clean plate and vibration cushions, will post that when they work.

About as much as I can see the color in the props.  Still haven't added LEDs yet, so for now I'm going by the props and the struts.  I've been mostly flying around the trees in my yard, so not more than 150 feet away.

Even if you don't care about the color, this is a great way of getting spare parts on demand after a crash.

Just went out for a flight.  I used a neon green filament for two of the struts and they light up when the sun is shining on them.  Of course when you're flying around trees and in shadow it gets a lot harder to see.

I'm planning to attach the LEDs to the edges of the arms, not facing down, so I should only see red or green at one time, not both.  Even with the colored props, from a distance it gets hard to tell which pair is closer to you, especially when the quad is at an angle.
