G+_Steve Prior
The KH250 parts list seems to have been created with the assumption that parts may be overkill, but will be useful in future builds. I realize that I may not agree with that philosophy - my next quad build will probably be in addition to the KH250, not replacing it, so it makes the most sense to buy parts which are right, but not overkill for the KH250 and assume they'll always stay there. I bought the 30 amp ESCs and the higher capacity motors. Are these really giving me higher performance with the KH250, or just adding weight and maybe reducing battery life/flight time? G+_Steve Prior
Given that a transmitter can be shared across all your models Iv do believe in going high end on the transmitter and am therefore VERY happy with my decision to go with the FrSky Taranis Plus - it's a pleasure to work with so far. G+_Joshua Delaughter
I thought the 30As were for the AlienX 450 build?
G+_T Burns
This is my question too. I'm rebuilding my lost quad with a ZMR v2 frame with an integrated PDB and I'd like to get away from the HEAVY 30A ESCs if possible. However, I'm worried about how many amps I'll be pulling with the RTF 2208-2300 motors with 6.5" props. Will 20A ESCs work with that setup? G+_T Burns
Wayne Hobbins Thanks for the link. The only trouble with the video is they did the testing with a 4s battery, which doesn't tell me the info I need for a 3s combined with the RTF2208-2300. I'm guessing the Cobra 2204-2300 is pretty similar to the RTF but I can't be sure. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I may just have to see if I can get RTFQuads to answer an email about the true power draw of these motors with 6x4.5 props, unless Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ already knows the answer.
