G+_Steve Prior
Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ In a previous Know How episode you were talking about how to adjust "the PID" of a quadcopter and it sounded straightforward at the time, but when I went into MultiWii I found that there isn't just one PID setting, there are a bunch of them. All the web pages and YouTube videos I've seen show a drone flying with different settings and what the effects are, but I haven't come across a single one which shows WHICH setting they're actually changing int he GUI. Can you clarify?
G+_Steve Prior
That first link (which I had already read) is exactly why I'm confused about this, the page makes it sound like there is only one set of PID settings, not a whole screen full of them. G+_Steve Prior
So it now sounds like it's the pitch and roll PID that primarily gets adjusted and they get set identically. It would have saved sooooo much time if that were mentioned clearly n the places which explain this stuff.
G+_Steve Prior
My quad flies pretty well, the only problem I'm trying to solve is when it descends it wobbles and makes a scary noise, when ascending and hovering it's fine.
G+_Steve Prior
I never need to tell spectators to stand back when the quad is descending, they back up all by themselves (even if they weren't close before).
