G+_Steve Prior
Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ So if I read the FAA rules correctly you basically can't fly a drone anywhere in southwestern Connecticut because it's all within 5 miles of some dinky airport, even if you're flying at tree level - do I need to sell my KH250? G+_Michael Heinz
Steve, look for RC clubs in your area - they should have a good idea of where you're allowed to fly. http://www.rc-airplane-world.com/connecticut-rc-airplane-clubs.html That said, the FAA is clearly out to lunch on this stuff. He was as boggled as anyone when they banned all RC flying for 30 miles around DC.
