G+_Stephen Vincent
I laid out a Raspberry PI DAC/Sound Card PCB and using that and volumio created an audiophile quality digital music player. The features in volumio really make it convenient. You can control playback, add tracks etc from any smartphone, tablet, or computer connected to the same wifi network and the DAC board has a DAC chip capable of 32bit/384khz playback (although the Raspberry Pi 2 model B only seems fast enough for 24bit/192khz playback) Links: Volumio.org http://www.lucidlaboratories.com/shop-1/raspberry-pi-dac

G+_Anthony Suarez
I never had luck with Volumio. I find RuneAudio so much easier to set up. I might give it a try soon.
