G+_Rodrigo Graça
WTF? Can anyone explain me this?
G+_Alex Hulinsky
is this actually a thing?
G+_Wayne Black
Well, I'd say it's a promo for the Air 2015 Drone Entertainment Show in Amsterdam at the Amsterdam Arena. Don't forget for years marijuana and hashish have been openly sold in coffee shops there! So, I'm not surprised. I can't help but wonder how many people will be injured. If it was the 1st of April, I'd be inclined to think this was a joke. We'll just have to wait and see.

G+_Jason Perry
Its either amazing or disappointing. I just hope the video isn't hyping it up to more than they can deliver. Sounds like a reason for KH to go on a road trip
G+_Wayne Black
The only way I can see them getting away with something like this, would be to install a safety net over the heads of the spectators. And of course hold it outside of the U.S.
G+_Wayne Black
A company named PlexiDrone has even found a way to sell more than one at a time. http://plexidrone.com/ They have "swarming" capability.
G+_Eddie Foy
APM / Pixhawk will do swarming too
G+_Rodrigo Graça
Wayne Hobbins? Some days ago I discovered that you can sync and fly two Syma X5C at the same time... ("swarming capability")
G+_Wayne Black
Rodrigo Graça Well, I'll be darn! I bought two of the Syma X5 quads thinking that I would be such a bad newbie pilot and that I might need some extra parts. Turns out they're so easy to fly that the other Syma has been sitting on a shelf waiting to be cannibalized. It never dawned on me to try both at the same time. Stuck a battery in it, turned both quads on and low and behold, both bound with the one receiver. I can fly two quads at once! Charging all the batteries and I hope the winds are calm tomorrow. I doubt if they have any crash avoidance with each other, but this is going to be fun! Thanks for the tip Rodrigo!!!! I can't help but wonder, just how many you can add now? This might get to be expensive. Gee thanks Rodrigo.....
G+_Rodrigo Graça
Wayne Hobbins Nice! I think I can try with 3 but I don't know when.... It might take one or two weeks... If i don't forget i will try with 3.
G+_Wayne Black
Well, here's the problem. With no GPS stable on the Symas things got a little erratic. Both have to be balanced to one another. With no prop guards or landing struts on either, the Syma I've been practicing with was, less spry, so to speak. The unused one took altitude quicker. It was fun, but only briefly. Maybe if you tried this with two new quads and fine tuned them to both react to the sticks the same, you could get it to work a little better. But as it is, too many variables without the GPS stabilizing feature.
