G+_Rodrigo Graça
"SymaToyStore" Is this website reliable? Has anyone bought anything from them and received the items? http://www.symatoystore.com
G+_Wayne Black
I try to buy everything through Amazon or Ebay. These quads have gotten so popular that many "sell out of your garage" companies have recently popped up. With Amazon and Ebay you have a little more protection, IMO. You might have to pay a little more, but for instance, with a little searching, a Syma X5 can be shipped from California. http://www.amazon.com/Syma-X5C-Channel-2-4GHz-Explorers/dp/B00KI03U8Q/ref=lh_ni_t?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1IED1Q3HGQJQ1 They seem to have high ratings and satisfied customers. G+_Rodrigo Graça
Wayne Hobbins yheaa... I bought the Syma X5C in Amazon, but now I need a new motor, and they are not cheap there because the "Postage & Packaging" is twice the motor value... By the way, do you think amazon could replace my Syma X5C? (One motor died...)
G+_Wayne Black
Rodrigo Graça Not sure on replacement, but if you have a Prime Account: http://www.amazon.com/CRW-Spare-Anti-clockwise-Motor-Clockwise/dp/B00MVKAZNY/ref=pd_sim_t_33?ie=UTF8&refRID=0Z5VAHCKMJEJ7CPZ297B Five bucks a motor isn't bad. G+_Wayne Black
Plus, I always question a company that doesn't know a "copper gear" from a brass one. Pretty sure those gears are brass. It's also interesting that their IP address location is in Provo, Utah. (?) Would this be normal for a Chinese company?
G+_Rodrigo Graça
Wayne Hobbins Yheaa... but on that website I can get one motor for: 4.42€ on amazon the cheapest I can found is 12.25€ ....
