G+_Larry Havenstein
I stumbled across this article about a hydrogen powered quad copter http://www.roboticstrends.com/article/hycopter_drone_flies_for_4_hours_via_hydrogen_power
G+_Larry Havenstein
I am not sure I could handle flying a quad for 4 hours straight. Battery changes force you to take breaks.
G+_Steve C
Too bad it's not real but that's just a theoretical concept! You'd need a pretty big hydrogen tank to hold enough fuel for 4 hrs. and a rather large fuel cell to produce enough current for it to fly. It seems totally impractical, If the frame was used as the tank it would be too heavy to ever get off the ground and where are you going to get large quantities of hydrogen anyway? G+_Steve C
I don't know how they would measure 4.2 oz. of hydrogen gas, wouldn't it float off the scale unless it was liquid hydrogen?
