What I Love Most About a Nexus Device

As tech enthusiasts, we have all had that feeling, the itch for the newest device, the angst at NOT having the latest and greatest.  But for me, that all changed with the Galaxy Nexus, which I bought on opening day.  For some reason, I am still entirely content with my Nexus even with newer flagships out there.  This satisfaction allows me to comfortably watch new phones breezing by, knowing that when I do finally want to upgrade, the phones out then will be even better!  It's a good feeling knowing that my next phone is not even on the radar yet!

My problem is that I feel the need to root and ROM my devices.  Granted, the Nexus line really helps with that, but I also feel the need for more horsepower.  Had the Galaxy Nexus from Verizon Wireless since Day 1, but really needed the Galaxy Note 2.  I am glad I switched, but having to wait for a stable enough ROM is killing me.
