G+_J Esposito
Hey iyaz akhtar , I think something important to note about the OwnCloud episode is that some webhosts, specifically Bluehost, don't like you using your web hosting for file backup and such. It's against Bluehost's TOS to use your space for anything other then your website. Just a thought.
G+_Frank Kim
I've never seen Bluehost take any type of action towards users who use their web hosting as a personal cloud service. That's not to say it has never happened, but when putting together a website many businesses have various downloadable material whose files are typically stored on the host. I don't believe web hosting companies would be in a rush to take action against these violations when the uncertainty exists that the files stored are for legitimate website purposes. Though at interesting episode could be showing people how to host their own personal cloud from their PCs. I've done it by setting up a Windows 7 PC as a web server, created a dyndns account, and forwarded the ports on my router.
G+_J Esposito
Frank Kim, I would definitely agree, but like the hackintosh episode you should give that disclaimer. I like your show idea, too.
