With seeking my Mac and going with an Alienware, the biggest app I am going to miss is TextExpander. Anyone got recommendations for Windows and or Linux alternatives?

Breevy from http://16software.com actually syncs with TextExpander via Dropbox. It's not pretty but it functions much like TE and has some other cool functionality. developer Patrick is awesome at support.

I hadn't heard of Phrase Express before Donald Mided. I'd have more inclination to recommend them if they hadn't blatantly copied Text Expander's name for their url.  In contrast, Patrick at 16Software worked with the TextExpander folks to make sure their snippets synced cross-platform. Since Smile has no intention of ever making a Windows version, and 16Software has no intention of making a Mac version, it was a perfect partnership to the advantage of both user communities. Phrase Express might be awesome software but it seems a cheap maneuver to me.
