G+_Tony Caselnova
Show#67 you talk about a clean install, where do you get the WIN OS disc from? My PC come with it installed and did not provide any disc. Also Can you show us the best way to do this on another show?
G+_Eric Schultheiss
Did your computer come with any reinstallation discs of any kind? Usually Windows is bundled in with some generic-looking OSM "install software" discs. ?

G+_Adam Goddard
For Windows 7 see this download link from Microsofts website. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_install/where-can-i-download-windows-7-iso-i-have-a/7d964b05-2be9-4800-bc7f-3ca30356fc3d Its for Win7 Ultamate but can be altered to make a universal install disc by extracting the iso (with say 7zip) going to the sources folder and deleting ei.cfg. Then use imgburn to create your universal windows 7 boot disc, just select the version you have a licence for.
G+_Eric Schultheiss
Question about product keys. I have a 32-bit key, would that 64-bit IOS work with a 32-bit key? I was given a free "signature edition" copy of Win7 Ultimate at a Microsoft event a week before the public release in 2009, but it only had the 32-bit version on disc (so disappointed)
G+_Adam Goddard
No you'd have to install the 32 bit.
G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
Typically those Windows boxes that don't come with media have the backup disks on the drive. Look for "Backup Manager" or "Restore Manager" (something like that) and there should be an option to burn DVDs with the restore disks.
