G+_Dallam Oliver-Lee
I'm trying to catalog all the episodes of all the shows on thetvdb.com which is used by apps like Kodi and Plex. There is a data field called "Production Code" that are unique to each episode of each TV show. How do I find out what the production codes are of TWiT episodes? I noticed Plex has issues with filename format that TWiT has like if I download SD Large videos of "The New Screen Savers"...the "500" at the end of filename confuses Plex thinking every file is episode "500". Only workaround was to rename the first bit of the file names as "tnss_S01E" and the rest as natively provided. This makes Plex happy. Many shows like "Tech News Today" need a lot of data input. G+_Scott Wyant
You might be able to discover the production code of television programs by looking up the shows at the copyright office, or you can contact the network that originally aired the program. That information may be included in their archive.
