I really like the Idea of network layers could I setup a router that would go straight to a node then run in aggregation to two wireless triband routers configured as VLAN gateways, (I have a very long building I'm working on) how ever what I mean by node is a small low power pc using the opensource firmware and connect it to a switch combing the two so the pc is the brains allowing a second firewall to the rest of the network behind the node where I have more valuable equipment without it being a NAT on NAT situation? Also setting one wireless for media and the second for phones tablets guests? Does this makes sense to you Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ ?
