G+_Emily kelley
I made a straw poll about the new blackberry os phone. I am curious to see if any android users will ever switch? Will you please take a moment to vote? I love my galaxy s3 and i can't see myself switching but i think the competition is good for all. strawpoll.me/6462
G+_Tim Davis
Unless it has some compelling, killer feature, I doubt I would. Plus I'd hate to have to repurchase apps I've bought on Google Play.
G+_Brian Bishop
The great thing about my BlackBerry is how great it was for emails with their amazing physical keyboard. A blackberry with a touch screen? No thanks. Plus, if MS can't get people to make apps, how will BlackBerry?
G+_Cass Morrison
doesn't blackberry run android apps?
G+_Erik Carlos Toren
Same here. Unless there are must have features or forced by the company (which was the reason folks stuck to BB), Android is it. What I saw on the vids look like a variant of Android. Eh. ? G+_Tim Davis
Cass Morrison Not natively, iirc, but they allow devs to easily port their apps from Android.
G+_Brad Littler
I think the more time people spend with either iOS and Android the harder it is to change. Plus one of the big reasons people used blackberry before was a lack of choice and companies bought your phones neither of those really exist in the bring your own device world created by Google and Apple
G+_Emily kelley
Brad, good point, it is a very different marketplace. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
G+_Erik Carlos Toren
Whole heartedly agree with Brad Littler That's how most of my coworkers end up with BBs. I hardly see folks now with BBs. Most either are rocking a iPhone or an Android based phone. Where I work, one of the long time BB users (and a manager for a department) recently switched to Android. A friend of mine who was a hard core non smart phone user recently bought the S3.
