G+_William Burlingame
Know How Episode 51. Last year I made a copy of my old (1954) high school yearbook. I mounted the camera underneath a tripod. Using Patrick Delahanty's formula for cost, it was $0.00. I already had the camera, tripod, etc. and used ambient light. G+_William Burlingame
Sorry, but I hadn't made the album public, but now it should be available.
G+_Patrick Delahanty
Very nice! My tripods don't do that... :(
G+_William Burlingame
On the ” Know it Alls” segment of Know How episode 52, Iyaz referred to this posting of my book copying setup. He was concerned about the safety of hanging my camera underneath the tripod. The tripod is made to mount the camera either above or below. The post is removable by depressing a spring loaded safety clip and uses a standard camera mounting bolt. I bought this tripod in the early 1960s and I used it on many occasions as my copier with a film SLR before digital scanners were available.
