G+_Ludwig Ederle
Hey #dogecoin miners. I get the following error when running minerd: HTTP request failed: failed connect to 127.0.0.1:9332 json_rpc_call failed. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help! G+_Will Pherigo
I have no earthly idea other than 127.0.0.1:xxxx is a port on your machine. 127.0.0.1 is your computer and minerd is having a problem with that port.
G+_Will Pherigo
I have no listened to the podcast and don't know how minerd works, but I would guess its trying to talk to another process or go out on the network.
G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
Sounds like you are running the EXE file instead of the edited .BAT file.
G+_Ludwig Ederle
That's it, thanks Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
G+_Will Pherigo
Let the community know how it works for you and any tips you have to share. I was finally able to watch the podcast and will be setting it up on my system soon.
G+_Ludwig Ederle
Well, once you do it exactly how it's in the show notes, everything will work fine. I made the mistake to run the exe-file instead of the bat-file. Now it's all up and running, thanks Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
