G+_Jason Marsh
Hey, Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ , how about a new show or separate KH series just for setting up, using, and maintaining networks. Call it NetWork IT! Wired, wireless, SOHO, HomeNets, NAS, ad nauseum...
G+_James Berry
IMHO, TWIET is more for IT Pros than hobbyist (I've used concepts/products for my daily job). But your show idea is awesome and I'd watch to strengthen my base. lynda.com - Lynda: Online Courses, Class, Training, Tutorials and itpro.tv both have excellent content. The itpro.tv instructors are really good, especially Mr. Pezet and Mr. Wong (Mr. Wong helped me with my Net+).
G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
Great idea... but it'll quickly run out of content. (52 episodes a year!) :)
G+_Jason Marsh
It doesn't have to be an ongoing show. It could be a series with defined boundaries that is perhaps revisited when new networking technologies are introduced to the SOHO/HomeNet lines. G+_Robert Taylor
Network IT is a great idea! Networking technologies are ever evolving. A multi-part series once a year would be good. The last few segments on KH about networking were awesome beginner or refresher courses. Something that goes a little farther or digs into emerging technologies of networking would definitely draw an audience. And with a revisit once a year - I doubt that you would run out of content to cover.
G+_James Berry
Talking about things like fiber and using it in a network would be one idea (learned more at work recently on it)
