G+_T Nohands
So Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ when looking at some 3D printers, I asked an employee at our local Micro Center if they had any 3D printers from XYZ that could print Nylon and was told any printer with a heated bed that could do ABS would do Nylon, yet that doesn't seem right to me. Wouldn't Nylon require more heat than ABS? I was also wondering about the possibility of printing Acrylic, would there be any printer that could print an acrylic as strong as cast acrylic with an expedited cooling feature to temper the material to an extra hard product? G+_T Nohands
Wayne Hobbins I'm looking to make special custom parts to weld to cast acrylic structures would the polycarbonate be capable of solvent welding and handle stress and temperatures same as the Acrylic I would weld to for handles near high powered lighting or extreme weather in zone 5 to 12 differences inside or out of water?
