G+_Richard Sequeira
An american invention making through in UK. To me there needs to be a level playing field. What uber gets away with from legislative loophole should be relaxed for cab drivers. Jobs will be lost if the cab system is not given the same opportunity as uber. http://m.bbc.com/news/technology-27317164
G+_Rob Saw
Black Taxi drivers are often rude, unhelpful and a good number of them actually have a limited idea where they are going (they are supposed to know the central London area like the back of their hand) they are also bloody expensive! I welcome Uber, although I'd like to be sure that they are subject to the same regulations as mini-cabs. As-in, booked passengers only, proper insurance and a requirement that their cars are maintained to a high standard on a regular basis.
G+_Richard
Did the steam engine makers get the same opportunity as the diesel engine makers?
