G+_Ben Reese
Say what!? It's available at my Microcenter too. Could be one of the best stocking suffers this year! Too bad my kids just won't be able to appreciate it.
G+_Adam EL-Idrissi
Adafruit had a live stream at 2:30 this morning and I saw this. Right after they had 18 when I went to order it and by the time I got to my cart to check out, seconds later, out of stock. But you can buy packs that have them. $5 each I s going to buy 4. I'd find something to do with them....

G+_610GARAGE
Hang on, I got to get my jaw off the ground. :) $5? that puts arduinos to shame. If only it had usb ports onboard. That would make for one great ThinPi.
G+_Eddie Foy
They still refuse to get rid of the suck-ass micro USB power connector.
G+_Ben Reese
I'm OK with micro USB for power. Micro USB for data is a bit of hassle since nothing will plug in directly, but that's OK for a $5 circuit board.
G+_Jeff Brand
Got mine at Micro Center which also has the most excellent stockpile of hobby electronics supplies I've ever seen in a brick and mortar store. Waiting for adapters from the Pi web store, brainstorming embedded projects that don't require network devices. My favorite so far is the game emulator inside of a Nintendo controller. G+_Adam EL-Idrissi
Jeff Brand get the newest PDF of magpi. You'll enjoy it. I was going to order 4 from adafruit but they keep going out of stock. I want to tyrnone into a Bluetooth mp3 player.
G+_Jeff Brand
That's where I got the Nintendo controller idea. Gps logger was a solid second place.
G+_Jeff Brand
The new winner is the throwable FM transmitter. I had no idea you could use the Pi to broadcast short range FM without any additional hardware!
