G+_Jeff Wolfers
2012 was the year Leo and Team built a staff, reengineered the whole workflow, tried and untried a few new concepts and launched new successful shows and by year's end had really settled into the Brick House. What will 2013 bring for the TWiT army?? Any guesses?

G+_Bill Malizia
The TWIT Team has built a great vehicle for Net Casting! They have managed to adapt and keep pace with the ever evolving Tech Industry. They have great shows, hosts, producers, Engineers, insightful guests, etc. Looking forward to 2013! Thanks Leo :-)

G+_Zulhaimi Abdul Hamid
Can we be more ambitious by suggesting that twit is ready to be a tv channel? i think Leo is on to something here. The potential is enormous.
G+_Bjørn-Eivind Kvam Netla
The way they create a show that can be both seen on TV and listened to without losing substantial points is in my opinion a revolution. I rarely listen to my local radio stations anymore, I always have a show or two in my podcast app. Best of wishes to all of TWiT! :-)
G+_Patrick Q
I love the TWIT network. Please don't take this negatively. But how about the commercials get a little shorter and/or fewer? Most of the TWIT network programs I listen to have at least 3 ads at the beginning, typically followed by another ad after the initial tease, and typically 2 interstitial ads. And the interstitials can be anywhere from 3-5 minutes long each. I know the network has to pay for itself, but considering the network was originally concepted as 'completely ad-free,' it's kinda pulled a very hardcore 180. G+_Jeff Wolfers
Patrick Q Leo says many times he had planed to build TWiT as a user-supported network, but alas there were too few donations to support anything, so he had to switch to ad-supported. If one watches live I agree the ads go on too long, but a good opportunity for a loo break or some minor chore around the house. If watching on a download it's easy enough to fast forward past the ads as if they were not there! Leo has 20+ staff and a big mortgage, so do give him due. Quality TV requires money! G+_Patrick Q
Jeff Wolfers I wasn't trying to knock Leo or the network. They are really great! I listen to the audio only versions on my drive to work, so the loo-break isn't really an option though. :-p I wish he would do a science show again. Was really sad when This Week in Science (was that the one with Dr. Kiki?) Dr. Kiki's Science Hour was cancelled.
G+_Ken Fromchicago
Patrick Q Jeff Wolfers Ads pay the bills. Personally I like the old school radio style of ads where the host essentially tells a story about using the product. The movie O BROTHER, WHERE ART THOU, feature that kind of ole tyme radio ads sprinkled in based on real radio ads, such as Pappy O'Daniel Flour Company ads: PAT O'DANIEL & HIS HILLBILLY BOYS-RADIO SHOW # 5.wmv Leo Laporte and Tom Merritt are especially good in-show story-telling commercials. They are far more compelling than some of flashier tv ads with their cgi and jingles and whatnot, IMHO. YMMV..
G+_Ken Fromchicago
Lisa Kentzell TWiT cottage => TWiT brickhouse => TWiT city => TWiT country => TWiT world? (C'mon, the Dr. Evil chair kinda gave it away.)
G+_Jeff Wolfers
Patrick Q Yes.... a trip to the loo is tough when one is behind the wheel! I was unhappy too when TWIS and Catherine Hall's photo show were cancelled. But they just never found a big enough audience to justify a time slot. G+_Josh Loeffert
Ken Fromchicago Patrick Q Jeff Wolfers Ads do pay the bills, but IMO Leo's ad reads are the worst. They are uninteresting and ramble on for far too long. Either get in and get out, like a radio style ad, or make it something worth listening to, like NSFW. If the ad is neither short nor interesting, I skip it.
G+_Bjørn-Eivind Kvam Netla
Josh Loeffert I agree, get in or get out. I guess that if you don't like Leo's style, you better watch something else. Ads are not my favourite part either, but they actually seem to be different for each time, and I think that is better than to memorize something...
