G+_Yossi Gofman
Hi, I am located in Israel, own an Apple TV and and have a VPN router with the other endpoint being in the US. So for all (media related) purposes I am located in the US. All but one. Many "channels" showing on Apple TV require a US cable subscription to authenticate. As I am (almost) strictly a pay-for-your-content-no-piracy sort of a person wanted to ask you if you can think of a way around this limitation. Especially am interested in HBO Go. Not looking for any piracy. Just any way one could get a subscription. Pretty much like the ones I have for Netflix and Hulu Plus. Without being a US resident that is :-) I would greatly appreciate any advise. Regards, Yossi Gofman
G+_Yossi Gofman
Guys, thanks for your responses. But you are missing the point I think. I do have the HW in the form of an Apple TV which runs the HBO GO application. I need a way to get a subscription outside of the US pretty much the same way as I have one with Netflix and Hulu (use fake US address and a CC or iTunes for payment). Please think hard and advise. G+_Yossi Gofman
steve c thanks for that. I suspected as much but was afraid I'm missing something. So it's back to piracy and torrents as much as I despise them!
