G+_Alasdair Graham
I believe Google will replace Vic Gundotra with a quality import.
G+_Joe Phelps
Google has promoted David Besbris to succeed Gundotra as head of Google+
G+_John Underwood
But he is not a Senior VP, I bet he is a placeholder

G+_John Underwood
And I believe that VC was fired and that G+ UX could and should be greatly improved.
G+_Aldo Merino
Frankly, I don't buy the wishful thinking that Gundotra was fired, let alone for the reasons outlined in the previous post, or even that G+ UX's is in dire need of some magical improvement. Wake me when there's substantive evidence to back any of that speculation.
G+_John Underwood
The effort required to narrow your news feed to those that matter to you is one gaping hole. The product is virtually unusable as a social platform due to that single factor.
G+_Aldo Merino
That hole is already filled. You can filter your news feed by your Circles at the top of the feed and choose whether you want those circles/feeds to appear in your home stream, along with the relative amount. That's substantially more control than you get from either Facebook or Twitter.

G+_Aldo Merino
Nor do nonsensical theories from people that aren't familiar with the product they're attempting to critique, apparently.
G+_John Underwood
Aldo Merino I have delivered more systems than most and I'm very familiar with this subject. If you feel the need reduce this discussion to insults I'll leave you to consider your method of communication. I'll leave you with my energy on this subject. Google is an amazing company with visionaries that we all respect but at the detail level the company fails to address intuaive common sense and I want this fixed. I'm not bitching I'm begging that Google get their act together. All the best Aldo.
G+_Aldo Merino
If you feel it's insulting to ask someone to explain their position, that's on you. I'd rather see energy focused there, as that might actually lead to a discussion about Google+ and Gundotra that the community could engage in, rather than, say, critique via fiat.
