G+_seb mitchell
Just some ramblings about the twit.tv site. I use chrome via a chromebox and twit front page image takes a while to load. The jpg is 303KB, I used some online converter to webp and 90% webp is 164KB and the 60 is 70KB. Maybe twit images could be displayed in webp for android, chrome and opera. There is a javascript library that can be used on other browsers. Edit: The sever could decide which format image is used. "The HTTP Accept header lets origin servers determine the best image format to send the browser" From: https://www.maxcdn.com/blog//how-to-reduce-image-size-with-webp-automagically/?utm_source=text
