G+_Charles-A Rovira
Bullshit!!! The x86 architecture look-ahead instruction cache flaw does not have anything to do with the A# architecture.used on/by the iOS devices.
G+_Scott Baker
Charles-A Rovira So you're saying that Apple is lying about the vulnerabilities? Or are you saying that you know more about this than the ARM and Apple engineers? (And yes, I know that ARM said only some "high-end" processors are effected-- cough*Apple*cough --but maybe you didn't). (and leaving this conversation since I really don't care what sort of knee-jerk reaction this elicits.
G+_Charles-A Rovira
The Mac line which actually uses intel chips which uses this kind of pipeline architecture for look-ahead instruction fetching is definitely vulnerable but the A# series chips are not.
