G+_Richard Galvan
So... I'm pretty sure I have deleted (uninstalled) app from a device FROM the desktop Google Play store. It seems that functionality is no longer available. Has this capability EVER been on the Google Play store?
G+_John Mink
I suppose maybe if you've rooted? <-- not sure. Otherwise, it's more likely that you just removed the updates, possibly changing the name back to pre "Play Store" era.
G+_Michael Bowen
I don't know either. I can't recall ever removing apps from the Play Store site. But I have certainly installed them from the site. Now I'm intrigued.
G+_Sidharth Dassani
Yes. It was there earlier. I have used it though not in last few months
G+_Johan Appelgren
In the recent big update to the Google Play site they removed that feature.
G+_Wade Shields
So, I think your question may be misunderstood. Sounds like you only deleted it from your desktop, but possibly not phone and are just unsure where the icon went. While I'm not sure what kind of phone you have, you will likely find an icon at the bottom of your home screen titled ALL APPS (a bunch of small squares making up a larger square), or a circle with some dots inside it. Selecting that will open your APP TRAY where all your apps can be found, likely in alphabetical order. If you fund the one PLAY STORE, you just press and hold it until your home screen appears and drop it where you want it. Please forgive me if I misunderstood and just wasted your time reading that. G+_Richard Galvan
Hi Wade Shields , the screen I was on was the Google Play screen. Not sure if that is what it was called at that time. I remember distinctly that my apps were ordered by device. So, my android phone is listed along with all apps on it. Somewhere on that row of apps, was a trashcan. I could drag the app to the trash and it would be (magically?) removed from my device. I am 99% sure. I was 100% sure until I went to the desktop version of the play store and... no trashcan. no way to remove the apps from my device from the desktop version of the app store. Or was that all a dream???
G+_Johan Appelgren
Rich Galvan As some of us have already commented, there was such a feature but it was removed in the big redesign of the Google Play website.
