G+_Marlon Thompson
So based on all the posts and stories about Pokemon Go since Wednesday can I just say ...I told you so.... I know Jason Howell doesn't get it and I know Niantic have had the server problems (I have only been able to play it on the first day) But I think they already have a smash on their hand. Yesterday two young friends of mine who live in Canada related to me the fun they had on a 2 hour walk playing the game and meeting other people who were also playing the game. On a podcast on Friday Scott Johnson mentioned how he met 2 kids dressed in Pokemon training gear walking around a park in full Pokemon training gear (the cap, the jacket, the backpack)with their phones out , when he asked "Pokemon Go?" they got all excited and started to talk excitedly about it.As I said the kids would be excited. I'll take my "no-prize" now.
G+_Elizabeth Whitmire
I'm old too, but I walked 5 miles yesterday, all because of that game. When playing, it didn't seem as though I'd walked nearly that far, so it looks like this is a great way to distract yourself if you're not a big fan of exercise. G+_Jason Howell (raygun01)
I had switched back to my 6P a few days ago, happy to be back "home." Then realized I can't play the damn game cause I'm on N. So now I'm back on the OP3 and will be for the next few weeks as I play the game enough to review it. Gotta say, it's fun but I feel like the learning curve (terminology, etc) is steep for me. I'm clueless.
G+_L I
Nintendo's stock price reportedly got a boost because of it.
