G+_Nogueira
Can't people just wait and avoid installing non trusted software on their phones?
G+_Paul Werner
Nogueira (Android) some can. For others this is a good thing. It's by the same developer that made Camera NX
G+_Nogueira
Good to know that's from a somewhat trusted person. Hey, I'm on cm14.1, so... I guess it's all about trust, right? ;-)
G+_Paul Werner
Yeah for sure. I mean technically that custom ROM could be considered non trusted by some just because you have to unlock the bootloader to install it
G+_Nogueira
Yep. That's my point. I'm just not into jumping on everything just because I can. Security, nowadays, is getting frightening enough for me. I'm keeping my "trustiness" at CM14.1. And that's because I have no other choice. G+_Paul Werner
Makes sense. What device do you use? Just asking since you said you have "no other choice".
G+_Nogueira
Nexus 5 with a broken power button. Flashed CM essentially for the feature where the volume buttons wake up the screen.
G+_Paul Werner
Oh OK. I had the N5 too & the power button was getting weird on me. It wasn't broken but had some issues. My wife now uses it running CM & I got the 6P. Partly because of that power button & partly because I wanted the nice burst shot & better camera for our daughter that was born just before the 6P was released
G+_Nogueira
Having little kids is a great excuse for getting a phone with a great camera. I second that.
