For some time now I've been trying to incoporate pen input into my digital life.  I've tried capacitive styli with my Nexus 7 (2012) and even considered analog to digital solutions like the Evernote/Moleskine Smart Notebooks. The capacitive stylus solution is just not going to work for me. I've always gone Nexus when it came to Android devices all the way back to the awesome Nexus One.  My current phone is the Galaxy Nexus.  Between my android phone and android tablet, I'm just not sure I need a bigger phone just to be bigger.  I'm not saying that I definitely wont get it but what would really make the Nexus 5 a treat for me would be an active digitizer a la the Samsung Note series.  I would really like to have the pen input option.  The Google Play Store cameo had the tagline: "Capture the everyday and the epic in fresh new ways." I know if definitely referred to the camera.  But perhaps I can dream that they also mean writing things down.

 

I'm sure I'll know the truth of it in about a week.

I bought the original Note grey market from Europe. Because it was big, and fast with a great screen. I've not found any real use for the writing, drawing function. Yes,its powerful, getting better with each new hardware release. But I'm a typist.

 

Out of curiosity, how are you integrating pen/stylus?

George Fromtulsa actually not very successfully. It's not very efficient or responsive in my experience.

Thanks. My daughter who is an artist can sketch on it. I could see the stylus might help scroll and select pull downs on forms. Not much else in my imaginings ---
