G+_Marlon Thompson
Is it still to early to judge Android Wear? Less than 500,000 Android wear devices have been sold (I base this on the numbers of downloads of the Android Wear app). 4 devices have been released is Android wear a flop or is it still too early to tell? G+_Joseph Cappellino
It's still a little early to tell. Value added benefit isn't there for most people. But, once the software and hardware mature, it will sell a lot better.
G+_Marlon Thompson
And for those who have not bought one yet the latest software update has brought some really good under the hood improvements, though I have been having strange battery issues on my Gear Live that I am trying to diagnose. G+_Joseph Cappellino
I agree. My Moto360 has gotten much better since I bought it. The battery is phenomenal, the "hiding" of notifications is great, and with the latest hardware from Sony and onboard GPS, it'e becoming a great platform. G+_Neil Sedlak
Chromecast + moto 360 is my new world. Pause button on my wrist! I'm giving the Nexus 7 (2014) to my kid once I get a Turbo this weekend. I now want a single device, and I also tend to get the phone out less often. It's also now on silent all the time. I'm very happy with it!
G+_Joseph Hurtsellers
I hate to say it; but it will take the Apple watch to give Android Wear more friction. I've got the Gear Live - and I simply love it. It's become absolutely useful and indispensable to me.
