Is this the death of 3-D in the home?

Maybe if they played anything other than 6 month old sports it wouldn't be. I would have loved to watch a live event on ESPN 3D, I grabbed a 3D TV because it was only slightly more expensive and had all the specs I wanted. I enjoyed seeing football in 3D, but I'm not going to watch 6 month old games no matter the format.

yawn  You mean the death of a ubiquitous feature that no one is under any obligation to use but yet costs very little for TV manufacturers to include? I'll file this one with the "death of PCs" and "death of consoles" articles that have been equally wrong over the past 15+ years.
