G+_Trez The Chef Woods
Is there an app, where my text messages will appear on my tablet and I can reply and send texts from my tablet? My cell phone is Galaxy S3(att) and my tablet is a Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus(WiFi only). Both Samsung
G+_Enzo Martinez
I am using Mysms to send/receive texts from either my gnex or my desktop, it's free and should also work on your tablet.
G+_Jacqueline Nehama
CloudSMS is wonderful. Not free but only 99 cents. I used to use tablet talk but it had to be connected repeatedly. CloudSMS runs in the background continuously as long as you're tablet and phone on the same network.

G+_Bruce Johnson
I have that (plus desktop Web access) via Google Voice. I'm on Sprint; not sure if that makes a difference.
G+_Vic Lovan
Bruce is right, Google Voice is a great way to go. And the carrier should not matter. So far there is no mms.
G+_Nick Johnson
Desk SMS by koush. If you use mysms or the like you are actually going through a proxy in a way and your MMS turn into links that people have to folllow to see your pics, or worse I found my sister downloaded mysms BC she ythouhht she needed it to see my MMS pics. Also lots of delays and failed text sending on the desktop side. I have tried all the major apps for this and settled on Desk SMS and am very happy with the simplicity and reliability, also on the sreamlessness on the receiver's end. The tablet version is called Tablet SMS and there are plugins for Chrome, etc. Developer is the amazing #koush at #clockworkmod
G+_Enzo Martinez
Nick Johnson good points. I've changed my view of mysms. Completely un installed it from my phone and computer. It was great at first for random texts, but once I had a busy texting day, I noticed the delayed or completely failed texts.
