G+_Robert Carlos
Looks like CBS took a swig of the crazy juice from Fox will all 5 major networks end up pulling their free over the air public airwaves transmission in response to Aereo or are Fox and CBS just posturing and looking silly? G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
Good... let them ALL drop. The agreement they made with the US was to provide OTA programming in exchange for the spectrum on which they broadcast. If they stop broadcasting, we take back the spectrum. G+_Lil Banchik
I'd love to see them try it. The FCC will be crawling up their backsides so fast they won't have to have time to sit down after the announcement. This all sounds like the spoiled kid in the school yard who yells "We're going to play by MY RULES or I'm taking my ball & going home". Well they can just leave, there are too many other kids & other balls in the playground now for them to try and get away with this anymore. G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
The airwaves are in the public domain, there is no difference from over the air broadcast and aereo. They are asking for trouble...

G+_R Picioli
If the networks stop broadcasting where does the leave the local affiliates? All the really good shows are not on “broadcast” TV anyway. As long as it’s free we will tend to put up with mediocre programing, but switch to a pay scheme and the broadcaster’s will see very quickly see how second-rate their programing really is.
