I had the Olloclip for my iPhone 4S -- I'm gonna be picking the new iPhone5 compatible model ASAP.   I loved it with my 4S...

Agreed Christopher John --- It is a pain to remove the phone from the case to use -- however, being able to take wide photos (or fisheye) is really nice.

Actually with the iPhone 5 -- I'm using my DSLR less and less.  I also recommend taking a look at Lisa Bettany 's Camera+ app.  :)

Cheers,

Will

That's ridiculous, the camera on my OneX never gets used. The only camera I shoot with is my Sony NEX-5 with an Alpha lens adapter and my numerous lenses. I don't care what anyone has to say a cellphone camera is just not useful when you're out and about taking vacation shots or at a sporting event. I cringe when I see people with their smartphones taking pictures.

For sporting events and places where I am needing to do a lot of zooming,  I'll bring my Nikon D700 with 270mm zoom lens... ;)  OR, my 30mm f1.4.  However, lugging that thing around (with batteries, and misc equipment) gets heavy after a while.

I remember when I was back in high school --- lugging around my Nikon N2000 film camera with loads of lenses, filters, etc, etc--- can we say backache?!?!  :)

It's such a joy to take my iPhone 5 (or whatever good mobile phone you have) --- and just enjoy the act of taking photos--- not having to worry about lugging all that gear.

I've taken some pics around San Fran, Austin, New Orleans with JUST my iPhone4S/5.  Maybe a little extra post-processing --- but I've had photos suitable for framing.  :)

My philosophy is---- it's NOT the gear--- it's the subject matter.   :)  Always having my phone/camera with me is really nice.

Respectfully, this is just my humble opinion.
