Am I the only one that found this exchange to be unacceptable?

Am I the only one that found this exchange to be unacceptable? You have two network regulars suggesting that the only way Natali Morris could get into an Apple event would be because: She is good looking (Dvorak), or because of her husband (LaPorte).

Franklin Irelan Calling the audience offended sissies is a little extreme Franklin.

I agree with others that moment detoriated to creepy with Leo and John.

Do I think it's necessary to grill them for sexism, not really. Everyone has a right to be offended to what is said every episode. And Daniel did the right thing by asking the community their opinion on it.

All everyone can do is let the comments be posted and see how people react.

Compare him to any other guest. He doesn't prepare, doesn't listen, talks over others, dismisses opposing arguments without a rational critical, thought out rebuttal, just 'that's bullcrap'. His opinions are consistently based on nothing but his own delusions and regularly contradict known facts.

JCD has always been a curmudgeon and is like a counter point to Leo. He is opinionated and I think often takes the devils advocate or conspiracy view. He has been doing that since the earliest days of TWIT. That however is no excuse for sexism. Leo often bemoans the fact that there are not enough woman in Tech, well sexism won't help improve the situation.

He often derails informed, insightful dialogue to interject baseless, valueless arguments from ignorance. Then Leo bites, and tries to attack his stance. Queue several minutes of non value adding back n forth. Meanwhile the other guests have normally given up trying to express their (normally well researched) perspectives. If he did this on an internet forum we would call him a troll.?

I purposely skip any episode of twit he is on. Not only is he obnoxious for obnoxious sake, his chewing into the microphone is a little unprofessional for someone who has been in radio for so long. Some of his and Leo's banter can be insightful and lead to new ways of looking at the same problem but often they are full of irreverent banter that drags down the show. His "character" may just be a little tired with a generation embracing the excitement of technology.

What a bunch of dim wits. John does what he does to show what a bunch of pompous self important dim bulbs you guys are. He knows there are fan boys like you out there and he don't give a crap if he insults your delicate sensibilities. If you don't like it don't watch. Tampons for everyone.

Dennis Mix, if that is how he truly feels about the people who support the show then he doesn't have to be on it and if his actions or words were to significantly cut into the the TWIT audience numbers then I suspect Leo would show him the door very quickly. I have no problem with him having an opinion no matter how much I disagree with it but if he wants to be a distraction just for the sake of being a distraction then let him do it on his own show or on a blog. As far as fan boys go, yes I am a fan of technology and if I don't like what I get from TWIT then I can simply get my information from someone else but since the TWIT network appears centered on technology maybe fan boys is exactly the audience they're after.

Daniel Brewer  , have you got a timecode for the JCD comments. I did listen to the episode, and things did seem a little awkward, but I am not sure how  offensive it was.

I do not agree with people saying others are over-sensitive. There are plenty of examples of speech which is not acceptable, if this is sexist, or if it was racist, inciting violence etc then people should call it out. If you are offended then it is better to say something about it.

Finally, the 'if you don't like it, don't listen to it' argument is okay, but not great. The people here support TWiT, and the first course of action is to shine a light on things they don't like because they want a better TWiT. If things don't improve, then each listener should decide when they don't want to listen anymore, and that's fine too.
