G+_William Tatum
Shooting in the Raw a photojournalist or artist could easily use up that much space.
G+_William Tatum
Also, the Library of congress, so far as I know, long since surpassed terabytes and has moved on to either petabytes or exabytes.
G+_George Ramirez
so does this mean we now have more HD video storage also
G+_Bob Ybarra
I can see loading my whole photo library and separating what I want into private and public. Its a backup, resource and a presentation. Yahoo doing something positive. Their new look is a real step up as well.
G+_dr_rb docmaker
But the limit for flickr's upload is at 300 mb per month for any size photo. For google's, standard size photos is unlimited and original size photos is at cost of your free 10 gb storage. https://support.google.com/plus/answer/156348?hl=en
G+_Marlon Thompson
So Yahoo said you could store 537731 high res photos on Flickr. What does that mean? I f you took and uploaded 50 pics everyday it would take you 29 years to fill up the storage space
G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
I will take it, google take notice. Yahoo has the infrastructure that apple and company does not. Things are getting interesting...
G+_Stephen McCoy
with a 300MB upload limit a month, it'll take 277.8 years to fill up the 1 TB. lol Update: Flickr lifted upload limit (src Flickr Twitter account)
G+_Jason Jones
Never used flickr until today. I like that there is a Bulkr program to download all your pictures. Is there a download limit similar to that 300mb upload limit?
G+_Rich Fowler
If Flickr lifted the upload limit, then this is a no-brainer. 1TB for my photos, or share 15GB with everything else... yeah, Google needs to respond. Quickly.
G+_Ian Merin
google+ photos are unlimited for anything under 2048x2048

G+_Rebecca Graves
I wonder if that applies to people like myself, who used to have a free Pro account thanks to my SBC Yahoo DSL internet, but then that perk got taken away. It'd be nice to have access to all my uploaded photos again, instead of the 200 it left me with...
G+_Josh Frye
Did they get rid of that 100 some picture limit for nonpro accounts? You could have more pictures than that, but people would not be able to view them unless you had a pro account.
G+_Dan Phillips
Someone once said the same thing about 64k of memory. I can't remember his name. Nerdy looking guy..started a small software company in Washington somewhere. :-)
G+_Mark Lanigan
I have 22k photos that take up 2TB so it would be easy to fill the space. But 300mb per month is hopeless as that would be about 45 RAW files a month for me. I store locally and back up the whole Drobo to Carbonite.
