You have a day off, and you are in a place you haven't been to before. You are looking at a sea of people in front of you. Your Glass beeps into your ear, and puts the following markers onto your Display. At one time, all these people have given you the right to be notified about their presence within certain hours of the day, and certain geographical locations. Question: do we want this? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ (n.b. this image s in public domain. http://www.publicdomainpictures.net/view-image.php?image=23150&picture=menigte-van-mensen)

G+_Jim T
I've been thinking about this sort of thing. So far, the older generation had been unable to grasp tech. I wonder if, when we're the older generation, we'll be unable to grasp social.
G+_Christopher Parsons
I don't normally comment on posts in this community, but this one just really hit me. I'll use Facebook since you are the last thing they care about. You just met someone and have allowed them to see your tags and locations, they have glass and go to an area near by, but you have never given your home address to them, they see you with glass because it locates you using your Facebook account and phone. This just brings a new means of stalking and to me just plain dangerous.
G+_George Kozi
The idea of permissions that are given for certain hours and certain locations to certain people is kinda intriguing, isn't it??
G+_Damian Mongru
I'm not sure I understand the question. Do we want this? Do you want to show up on a notification on someone's Google Glass, when you've explicitly given them the right. Of course. Some people may want this, they may find it helpful purely because they are forgetful, and some people may not. The people highlighted have all consented to you knowing information about them, so I can't see anything wrong with the example. Although, maybe your boss should be at work, unless he has a day off too. Personally, as long as you can turn the system off (so that you do not show up on someone else s Google Glass) then I can't see any harm in it. Finally, don't Facebook, and 'Find My Friends' app do a similar thing?
G+_Dino D Fantozzi
For this kind of functionality, I would spend the $1,

G+_Claude Marcotte
Looks like Daemon and Freedom by Daniel Suarez. ;-) But in the books, you need to wear the special glasses (and thus be on the network) for other glass-wearers to see you in their HUD.
