G+_Jim Cullen
Hey, I'm looking for a good Calendar widget, but with some rather specific requirements. Available in a number of sizes Gets its calendar entries from Google Calendar Shows a week or day view that looks similar to the main Calendar view (shows a timeline with clearly shown gaps etc.) Clicking on it opens Google Calendar. I feel like the official Google Calendar widget should do this, bit I just can't find how to do it if it is possible. Thanks guys!
G+_Joseph Cappellino
I love Pure Grid Calendar Widget. It's themeable, supports task applications, and can show week or month views. Well worth the price ($1.79). https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.koxx.pure_grid_calendar
G+_Jim Cullen
I've been using the default Calendar widget. And yeah, I'm referring to a homescreen widget. What I want is to be able to get a quick visual overview of my calendar for today or this week. As far as I can tell the default widget only does a view similar to what you get in the app if you go to “Agenda". What I want is something more like “Day" or “Week". With a visual of when there's a gap in the schedule etc.

G+_Nate Serefine
I've been using CalenGoo for years and it's by far the most full featured calender out there. Pricey at $5.99, but it's worth it if you need a powerful app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.calengoo.android&feature=search_result#?t=W10. G+_Zay Inked
Try Jorte. They had some time zone issues but after they fixed those, it all seems to run very smoothly.

G+_Jared Hall
I really enjoy Touch Calendar, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.olilan.touchcalendar.trial, try the free version first, was one of the first with touch zoom and still my favorite
G+_Jim Cullen
Zay Inked, James Crute, thanks! Jorte does a great job. Only disadvantage is that it doesn't open Google Calendar when I click on it, it doesn't go to Google Calendar, but I guess that's a bit of an unreasonable requirement. Jared Hall, widgets are only in the paid version, and the screenshots of the widget don't appear to have the view mode I'm looking for. Not to mention that just shy of $3 is rather a lot for something that probably doesn't meet all my needs…
G+_Dean Penderghast
I use Calendar Pad but I'm also looking at other calendar apps as well.
G+_Angelique Murray
I use Simple Calendar Widget https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anod.calendar&feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDNd
G+_Jim Cullen
Angelique Murray , Simple Calendar Widget doesn't even come close to meeting most basic of my needs. It only has an agenda mode.
G+_Dean Penderghast
I HATE the spinning selector for date and time that Google uses. The one thing that makes Calendar Pad stand out is that it does NOT use Google's built-in Add Calendar Event screen but uses it's own. When you click on the time, it's very easy to select the time you want. Same with dates and other fields. Download the free version first and see if you like it. G+_Wade Shields
I think you missed the 1st comment about Pure Grid Calendar widget. It does everything you mentioned. It is solely a widget and lets you choose whatever app you want to open when you touch it. You could even open the music app if you so choose. I know you wouldn't want to, that's just an example of it's flexibility. Click my picture & check out my profile. I'll post a screen shot of mine over there so you can see what it looks like. You can scroll up to 4 weeks also. ?

G+_Jim Cullen
Wade Shields, thanks! I didn't miss it, but when I tried it out I didn't see where you could change the settings to do those things. Went and rechecked after reading your comment, and I'm loving it!
