G+_Patrick Conant
I'm seeing some discussion online about (mostly failures) getting a Bluetooth headset to work with Google Now. Has anyone had success with this? I'd love to be able to do "note to self" and other voice commands while driving. A "safe driving" Arena would be great. However, I'm not sure Mr. I-watch-Voltron-on-the-highway would give good advice.
G+_Patrick Conant
I just realized that I started looking into this from a post that started here with Joseph Hurtsellers . Sorry for doubling up on someone else's query!
G+_Dominick DeVito
I'm not sure what you mean by pairing it with Google Now? Are you referring to an Android phone? I have my phone paired with my bluetooth adapter for the car. So I use voice commands through the adapter speaker in the car all the time. http://www.livioradio.com/kit/ (there was an android version for $10 more but I ordered the iPhone one and it works fine with my Galaxy Nexus). G+_Joseph Hurtsellers
Thanks for bringing it back up Patrick Conant . Dominick DeVito what I want to do is to use the voice function of Google Now through my Bluetooth. This would be handy while driving; but also in numerous other situations. I notice there is a check box for this feature in the settings of Now but this seemingly does nothing.
G+_Joseph Hurtsellers
Update: OK so now out of the blue it's working. Doing exactly what I want; using my BT to speak to Google Now. Don't know why it wasn't before; could have been a bug in my ROM but the check box seems to work for me now.
