G+_George Kozi
Masive real life conditions test. The EU is serious about self driving trucks. In the very near future, I expect to see convoys like these cruising on a road near me. Originally shared by European Union About a dozen trucks just completed a week of largely autonomous driving across Europe, the first such major exercise on the continent. http://qz.com/656104/a-fleet-of-trucks-just-drove-themselves-across-europe/

G+_Corey Cotton
ok, this may be a silly question (and no I didn't read the article.) who put gas in the trucks when they needed fuel? Did they stop in Jersey or Oregon for full service?
G+_Harry Maciolek
Corey Cotton? I expect people at this point, though robotic fuelers have been created. This was just a test, those details need to be worked out.
G+_Phillip Lemons
Corey Cotton Oregon has an exception to the full service law for those who belong to commercial fuel clubs. I imagine Jersey has a similar arrangement.
G+_Peter Gallerani
We can figure out how to make a robot fuel them up, back them into docks... the basic driving will be done by a computer. The little stuff that doesn't require much pay will get done by silly humans. My father is a truck driver and he doesn't argue that this is coming. I think it'll be a mix for a while, but eventually, humans will be at a minimalist for driving in general.
